Emily's a Meteorologist!

For those of you that know and have met Henry's sister, Emily, we are excited and happy for her that she has started her long-awaited career as a Meteorologist!

Last month, she started her weekend meteorology job at Channel 10 in Corpus Christi. She got a very quick orientation into her new career as she has to do the cut-ins for the weather during the Early Show on CBS for 2 weeks! Fortunately, because Henry and I were in Corpus one of those weeks, we got to see her, too. We are so proud of her and can't wait to see where this job takes her next!

Lunch with Florida Folk

Not much has been going on in our household lately. We've been trying to lay low and keep spending down, but we were both excited to meet up with our friends Mike and Sandy this past weekend! They flew into Houston From Tampa to go to College Station and get the last of their belongings before making their final move to Tampa. Mike has a new job there, and they are on their way with the Uhaul now!

We have already missed being in the same city as them seeing as how we moved from College Station in the Spring of 2008 (got married and all).
